About the Sabal Minor:

The Sabal Minor, also known as the Dwarf Palmetto, is a small palm tree variety that is native to the Southeast.

It is a short-trunked sabal with much if not all of its trunk below ground. Its leaves are green to blue-green in color and it usually grows five feet tall and wide.

Mature plants can handle temperatures down to 0°F. It works best in groups but can be used as a single specimen. Once it is planted it is difficult to move due to its below-ground root system.

We highly recommend the Sabal Minor Palm Tree for Mt. Pleasant, Charleston, Kiawah SC and surrounding areas.
